We have recently become a 'pet household'. We have three guinea pigs, four cats and ten fish. Andy is very worried that we will have a small zoo in our house when we own rather than rent.
Our guinea pigs are Anakin, Padme and Princess Leia (top to bottom). These animals are real sweethearts. As long as they have a never ending supply of water, hay and vegetables they are happy.
We are fostering a mother cat and her three kittens. We received them when the kittens where five days old, and will have them until they are eight weeks old and can be adopted. We are loving having cats in the house and can't wait until the kittens are more playful. They are three weeks old today so they are so very cute and cuddly.
Our fish tank has been set up for months but has been sitting empty. Many people have asked if there is any fish in there. I finally got tired of telling people that we had a new type of fish called 'Klingon Cloaking Fish' and decided to go get some Goldfish instead. Once the tank is well established and the fish don't start dying off we will broaden our fish base, but for now we are sticking with $0.99 goldfish.
