I can't believe that we are celebrating our 13th anniversary in 3 days! Where has the time gone? Where have those kids gone? And why did they leave this aging couple behind?

Change

Change is good - right? We are going to be moving out of our huge 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2 living room house into a one bedroom basement suite. The plan is that we will be renting the suite for 1 year and living on as little amount of $ as possible so we can put away enough money for a down payment on our own home. I am so tired of renting and paying someone else's mortgage! I can't wait to have our own walls, and be able to do whatever we want with them. But for now I have to figure out how to downsize from about 2600 square feet to about 500 square feet. Sounds like fun!

New Venture

I am so excited. I have begun a new job, and I LOVE it!!!

I have really been lacking inspiration in blogging lately. I love coming on here and reading everyone's blogs. I just have no inspiration to write on my own. Nothing clever comes to mind, and my everyday life is too boring to write about. So instead I decided to post this picture of Alf, just cause it made me giggle.
